Patrizi’s in Austin. Carbonara Alexandra. It’s definitely got the heft of carbonara. The fresh made pasta is a boon and I can kind of see what they were trying to do with the extra smoked bacon, but just wasn’t quite coming together for me. Just a bit too overpowering in the smoke department.
Pancetta, coddled egg yolk, grana padona on fresh fettucine.
