So I’m working on shedding a ton or two of fat using the Keto low carb lifestyle, been on it for 12 days and lost 11.6 lbs so far without even a hunger pang.
This is my lunch today:
Slow cooked beef on a bed of baby spinach with some mushrooms, bell pepper, green onion, half an avocado a bit of tomato, goat cheese crumbles and ranch dressing. oh and my version of toasted gluten free microwave keto “bread”
6 tsp Flaxseed meal
3 tsp Almond Meal
1 tsp Baking powder
1 packet of Stevia or Splenda
1 tsp Heavy cream
1 tsp Olive oil
⅛ cup of shredded cheese
Mix the dry ingredients in a 4-5” ramekin or large coffee mug. Add the wet stuff and mix thoroughly with a fork. Cook on high in a microwave for 60-90 seconds, if it’s still sticky then run it for 20 more seconds or so. When done just turn the mug over and shake out the “bread”
I like to let it cool some and slice into ¼ – ½ thick pieces, then toast or brown them in butter before use.
